Accommodation Terms and Conditions

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

The accommodation contract and any related contracts concluded between this Facility and guests shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Matters not provided for herein shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally established customs. Where the Facility has agreed to a special arrangement to the extent that it does not violate laws, regulations, or customs, such special arrangement shall prevail notwithstanding the preceding paragraph.

Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)

Any person seeking to apply for an accommodation contract with the Facility shall provide the Facility with the following information: (1) Guest name (representative) (2) Guest contact information (representative) (3) Guest address (representative) (4) Guest identification document (representative)

Article 3 (Formation of Accommodation Contract, etc.)

The accommodation contract shall be formed when the Facility accepts the application set forth in the preceding article. When the accommodation contract is formed pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay, by the date designated by the Facility, an application deposit determined by the Facility up to the amount of the accommodation charges for the accommodation period.

Article 4 (Refusal to Conclude Accommodation Contract)

The Facility may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases: (1) Where the application for accommodation is not made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. (2) Where there are no rooms available due to full occupancy. (3) Where the person seeking accommodation is deemed likely to engage in conduct relating to accommodation that violates laws and regulations, public order, or good morals. (4) Where the person seeking accommodation is a member of an organized crime group, a related organization or related person, or otherwise an antisocial force. (5) Where the person seeking accommodation has acted or spoken in a manner that causes nuisance to nearby residents. (6) Where the person seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as having an infectious disease.

Article 5 (Guest’s Right to Cancel)

A guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the Facility. If a guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract for reasons attributable to the guest, the Facility shall charge a penalty (cancellation fee) in accordance with the cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

  • From 7 days prior to the reservation date (inclusive): 100% of the accommodation charges (tax included)
  • From 14 days prior to the reservation date (inclusive): 50% of the accommodation charges (tax included)
  • From 100 days prior to the reservation date (inclusive): 20% of the accommodation charges (tax included)

Article 6 (Facility’s Right to Cancel)

The Facility may cancel the accommodation contract if the guest falls under any item in Article 4, or if the guest fails to comply with the house rules prescribed by the Facility.

Article 7 (Registration of Accommodation)

The guest (representative) shall register the following information: (1) Name, age, address, and contact information of the guest (2) For foreign nationals: nationality, passport number, place of entry, and date of entry (a copy of the passport must be presented) (3) Departure date and scheduled departure time (4) Any other matters deemed necessary by the Facility

Article 8 (Hours of Guest Room Use)

The hours during which a guest may use the guest room of the Facility shall be from 16:00 on the day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Facility may accommodate use of the guest room outside the hours set forth therein. In such case, an additional fee determined by the Facility shall be charged.

Article 9 (Compliance with House Rules)

Guests shall comply with the house rules established by the Facility and posted within the Facility.

Article 10 (Payment of Charges)

Charges shall be paid by bank transfer or by credit card, etc., approved by the Facility, when the Facility requests payment.

Article 11 (Handling of Deposited Items, etc.)

With respect to items, cash, and valuables deposited by the guest prior to the scheduled arrival time, the Facility shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, damage, or other harm.

Article 12 (Custody of Guest’s Baggage or Personal Effects)

If, after checkout, a guest’s baggage or personal effects are left behind at the Facility, and the owner is identified, the Facility shall contact the owner and request instructions. If there are no instructions from the owner or the owner cannot be identified, the Facility shall keep the items for [7] days including the date found, and thereafter deliver them to the nearest police station or dispose of them.

Article 13 (Guest’s Liability)

If the Facility suffers damage due to the guest’s intentional act or negligence, the guest shall compensate the Facility for such damage.
